This clutch O-ring seals the hydraulic piston inside the drivetrain clutch pack. It prevents fluid leakage between the piston bore and the piston outer diameter, maintaining the pressure needed for clutch engagement and disengagement. A worn or hardened O-ring causes a slow or incomplete clutch release, leading to gear clash or slippage under load. The original AGCO part is molded to the same cross-section and durometer as the factory seal, so it seats correctly in the groove without twisting or pinching during assembly. Lubricate the O-ring with clean hydraulic fluid before installation and verify it is not rolled in the groove when the piston is inserted.
