Product Description

This double gear transmits torque from the PTO shaft to the driven implement, stepping the rotational speed through its two integrated tooth counts. It sits inside the PTO housing, where the smaller gear engages the input shaft and the larger gear drives the output coupling. Wear on the tooth flanks produces backlash that causes driveline chatter and uneven implement speed. The original AGCO gear is machined to the same tooth profile and hardness specification as the factory assembly, preserving the intended engagement depth without requiring shimming. On reinstall, verify the retaining snap ring is fully seated in its groove.
