This oil filter is installed in the gearbox circuit of the host tractor. It captures particulate contamination from the lubricating oil before it reaches the gearbox bearings and gears. A clogged filter restricts oil flow, which can lead to insufficient lubrication and accelerated wear on internal transmission components. The filter is designed to the original manufacturer's specifications for the housing seal groove and bypass valve cracking pressure. When replacing, ensure the housing sealing surface is clean and torque the cover to specification.
