This wet clutch friction disc is the component that transfers torque through the gearbox when the clutch pack is engaged under hydraulic pressure. It sits between the steel separator plates inside the clutch housing; the friction material on both faces provides the grip needed to lock the input and output shafts together without slippage. As the disc wears, the clutch pack clearance increases, leading to delayed engagement, chatter, or partial slipping under load. The disc is an AGCO-original part, so its tooth profile and thickness match the hub and piston stroke of the assembly for which it was designed, eliminating the need for selective shimming during replacement. On reinstall, ensure the clutch housing is clean and that the oil supply passages are unobstructed.
