This heating valve controls the flow of coolant through the heater core inside the tractor cab. It is a shut-off valve that opens or closes the circuit between the engine cooling loop and the cabin heater matrix, regulating the temperature delivered to the cab. A valve that fails to seal or that sticks in one position will cause either insufficient cabin heat or a continuous drain of engine heat, reducing defrosting capability and operator comfort. As an original AGCO-manufactured component, the valve body and internal sealing surfaces are machined to match the original housing bore and seal seat, so no adapter or shimming is needed during replacement. When reinstalling, ensure the hose clamps are torqued to spec and that the valve lever moves freely through its full range before final tightening.
