This fuel feed pump draws diesel from the tank and delivers it to the injection pump at the required pressure. It is mounted on the engine block and is driven by the engine's camshaft or timing gear. A worn pump causes hard starting, loss of power, or engine stalling under load. The original AGCO pump matches the mounting flange geometry and lever arm length of the original assembly, so no bracket modification or shimming is needed. On installation, ensure the pump lever aligns with the camshaft lobe and that the mounting bolts are torqued to specification.
