This fan housing encloses and directs airflow from the engine-driven cooling fan toward the radiator and engine block. It is mounted directly to the engine assembly and forms the duct that channels air across the heat-exchange surfaces. A cracked or deformed housing disrupts airflow, causing elevated coolant and charge-air temperatures. The housing is manufactured to the original profile and mounting geometry so that it aligns with the fan shroud and radiator seal without modification. On reinstallation, ensure all mounting points are clean and the fan rotates freely within the housing before tightening the fasteners.
