This sensor monitors the position of the clutch pedal in the host tractor. It sends a signal to the engine control unit to disengage the cruise control or adjust engine speed when the pedal is depressed. A failed sensor may cause the cruise control to remain engaged or the engine to stall when the clutch is pressed. The sensor is mounted at the pedal assembly and must be adjusted to the correct gap from the pedal arm during installation.
