This bearing supports the front-axle drive shaft where it transmits torque from the differential to the wheel hub. It maintains shaft alignment under load and absorbs radial forces generated during steering and travel. A worn bearing produces play in the shaft, leading to vibration and uneven tire wear. The original AGCO part is manufactured to the same raceway geometry and internal clearance as the factory assembly, so no shimming or housing modification is needed during replacement. On installation, inspect the shaft journal for scoring and replace the axle seal if the old one shows leakage.
