This hydraulic filter element removes particulate contamination from the oil circulating in the tractor's hydraulic system. It is installed in the filter housing on the pressure or return side of the hydraulic loop, where it protects downstream components such as control valves, actuators, and the pump from abrasive wear. A clogged element forces the system's bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate and accelerating internal component wear. As an original AGCO component, the filter media and bypass-valve cracking pressure are matched to the housing's design specifications, ensuring the bypass valve opens only when the element is fully loaded. Replace the housing seal and torque the cap to specification during reinstallation.
