This multi-ribbed belt transmits power from the engine to the pneumatic system’s air compressor and to other driven accessories in the drive loop. It sits on the pulley set at the front of the engine, routing torque to the compressor pulley and the fan or alternator as applicable. A worn or glazed belt slips under load, causing reduced compressor output and undercharging of the electrical system. As an original AGCO component, the belt is molded to the correct cross-section and length so it seats fully in the pulley grooves without requiring a tensioner adjustment beyond the standard range. On replacement, verify the belt routing matches the original path and set the tensioner to the specified deflection.
