This pressure sensor monitors fluid pressure in the hydraulic system of the host tractor. It sends a signal to the electronic control unit, which uses the reading to regulate pump output and valve timing. A failed sensor can cause erratic implement response, delayed clutch engagement, or a warning lamp on the dash. The sensor is calibrated to the original AGCO specification, so its output curve matches the controller's expected voltage range. On replacement, ensure the sealing O-ring is clean and seated correctly to prevent fluid ingress into the connector.
