This multi-rib serpentine belt drives the alternator from the engine crankshaft pulley. It transmits rotational force to the alternator rotor, enabling electrical charging for the tractor's systems. A worn or glazed belt slips under load, causing a low-charge condition and visible belt squeal. This original-manufacturer belt is molded to the same rib profile and pitch as the original assembly, maintaining correct tension and pulley contact without requiring shimming or adapters.
