This hydraulic pressure sensor monitors fluid pressure within the tractor's hydraulic system and sends a corresponding electrical signal to the control electronics. It is installed in the system's pressure line, where its output is used by the controller to regulate pump flow and system response. A failed or drifting sensor can cause erratic implement movement, delayed response, or a warning light on the operator display. As an original-manufacturer component, its electrical output curve matches the calibration of the host tractor's control unit, so no signal conditioning or adapter harness is required. On replacement, ensure the sealing O-ring is clean and seated before tightening to the specified torque.
