It sits in the cab, where it joins the control-side circuits to the chassis-side circuits that manage lighting, implement control, and operator-interface functions. A corroded or loose connector introduces intermittent contact, which can cause flickering lights, erratic implement response, or a no-start condition. The original AGCO part matches the terminal geometry and seal profile of the factory housing, so the locking tab engages fully and the weather seal seats without gaps. On reinstallation, verify the locking tab clicks into place and the rubber boot, if present, covers the joint completely.
