This multi-ribbed V-belt transmits power from the engine crankshaft pulley to the drive-system accessories, including the alternator, water pump, and fan. It sits in the front-end accessory drive of the host tractor, routing around a serpentine path of grooved pulleys. The belt’s six ribs engage the pulley grooves to prevent slip under load. A worn belt produces a squeal at startup or under sudden load, and can cause undercharging or overheating as accessory speed drops. As an original AGCO part, the belt is molded to the same rib profile and pitch as the original assembly, which maintains proper tension and pulley-wrap without requiring a different tensioner setting. On installation, ensure the belt is fully seated in every pulley groove and that the tensioner is within its travel range before final adjustment.
