This metal-rubber shock absorber mounts between the cab structure and the chassis, isolating the operator station from vibration transmitted through the tractor frame. It compresses and rebounds under load, using the rubber element to dampen high-frequency oscillations before they reach the cab mounts. A worn absorber allows excessive cab movement, which accelerates wear on the cab suspension pivots and reduces operator comfort over long work cycles. This original AGCO component is molded to the same rubber durometer and bond strength as the factory-installed part, so the damping rate matches the original cab isolation design. On replacement, inspect the mounting studs for corrosion and torque the retaining nuts to the specification for the host tractor.
