This hydraulic oil filter removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic circuit before the fluid reaches the high-pressure pump and control valves. It is installed in the return-side filter housing of the tractor's hydraulic system. A clogged filter element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate and accelerating wear on pumps and actuators. As an original-manufacturer component, its seal geometry matches the housing groove, ensuring the bypass valve seats correctly and opens only at the designed differential pressure. Replace the housing seal and torque the cap to specification during installation.
