This bushing fits into the front axle assembly of the host tractor, providing a load-bearing surface between the axle housing and the rotating shaft or kingpin. It maintains correct alignment and reduces metal-on-metal wear under the static and dynamic loads of steering and suspension. A worn bushing introduces play in the steering knuckle, leading to imprecise directional control and accelerated wear on adjacent seals and bearings. As an original AGCO component, the bushing is machined to the same interference fit and surface finish as the factory-installed part, which eliminates the need for shimming or reaming during installation. Replace the bushing as a set with the corresponding seal and torque the retaining hardware to specification on reinstall.
