This position sensor fork is a mechanical component that transmits the movement of a shift fork or selector rod to a position sensor inside the transmission housing. It sits in the gearbox, where its motion is detected by the sensor to report the engaged gear state to the machine's electronic control unit. A worn or bent fork produces an incorrect or intermittent sensor signal, which can cause erratic shifting, warning lights, or a loss of transmission control. The original AGCO part is machined to the same pivot-pin bore diameter and fork width as the original assembly, so no bushing or shim adjustments are needed during replacement.
