This steering knuckle seal ring is the original AGCO component that seals the joint between the steering knuckle and the axle housing. It prevents lubricant loss and keeps contaminants out of the bearing surfaces that allow the wheels to turn. A degraded seal allows grease to escape and dirt to enter, leading to accelerated wear in the kingpin and bushing assembly. The seal is molded to the same cross-section profile as the original production part, so it seats correctly in the housing groove without requiring shimming or adapters. On installation, ensure the sealing lip faces the lubricated cavity and that the bore is clean and free of burrs.
