This pressure switch monitors fluid or air pressure within the electrical system of the host tractor. It sends a signal to the control unit when a preset pressure threshold is reached, allowing the system to activate or deactivate a connected function. A failed switch may cause the controlled function to remain inactive or stay engaged continuously, or it may trigger a warning light on the dashboard. The switch is threaded into a port on the system manifold or line; on reinstallation, ensure the sealing washer or O-ring is replaced and the switch is torqued to the manufacturer's specification to prevent leaks.
