This fuel filter is an original AGCO part for the engine fuel system of the host tractor. It removes particulate and water from the fuel supply before the fuel reaches the high-pressure injection pump. A clogged filter restricts fuel flow, causing power loss and rough running; a bypassed element allows unfiltered fuel to reach the injectors, which can cause premature wear. The filter element is constructed to match the original housing seal geometry, ensuring the bypass valve opens at the correct differential pressure. Replace the filter at the interval specified in the tractor service manual, and bleed the system after installation.
