This fuel filter is an original AGCO component designed for the fuel system of agricultural tractors. It removes particulate and water from the fuel supply before it reaches the high-pressure injection pump, protecting injectors and internal engine components from abrasive contamination. A restricted or saturated filter reduces fuel flow, causing power loss and hard starting, particularly under load. The filter assembly seals against the housing with a gasket that should be replaced at each service interval to prevent air ingress into the fuel system.
