This exhaust manifold gasket seals the joint between the exhaust manifold and the cylinder head on the host tractor. It prevents leakage of exhaust gases at this connection, which is necessary to maintain proper backpressure and engine performance. A failed gasket produces an audible exhaust leak, reduces engine power, and can cause incorrect readings from the oxygen sensor. The gasket is manufactured by AGCO to match the original sealing surface geometry and crush profile of the factory assembly, so it seats correctly without additional sealant. On installation, clean both mating surfaces thoroughly and tighten the manifold bolts in the sequence and to the torque specified for the engine.
