This valve cover gasket seals the joint between the valve cover and the cylinder head on the host tractor’s engine. It prevents oil leakage and keeps contaminants out of the valvetrain, protecting the camshaft, lifters, and associated components from debris ingress. The gasket is supplied with the integrated wiring harness, which connects to the engine’s electrical system for valve-cover-mounted sensors or injectors. A worn or hardened gasket allows oil to weep onto the exhaust manifold, producing smoke and reducing oil pressure. As an original AGCO part, the gasket is molded to the same profile as the original assembly, matching the sealing groove in the cover for proper compression without over-torquing. On reinstallation, clean both sealing surfaces and tighten the cover bolts to the specified torque in the correct sequence.
