This hydraulic oil filter housing encloses the filter element and directs fluid flow through the hydraulic system. It is installed between the reservoir and the high-pressure pump, providing the sealed passage that forces return oil through the filter media before recirculation. A damaged housing can allow air ingress or fluid bypass, causing cavitation and reduced pump output. Manufactured by AGCO, the housing is cast to the same port geometry and seal-face flatness as the original assembly, ensuring the filter element seats correctly and the bypass valve operates at its designed cracking pressure. When replacing the housing, transfer the O-ring from the old unit or install a new seal, and tighten the mounting bolts to the torque specification for the host tractor.
