This solenoid valve mounts on the face plate of the hydraulic system and controls fluid flow to the remote circuits or implement functions. It is an electrically actuated spool valve that opens or closes a port in the manifold when the coil receives a signal from the tractor’s control electronics. A worn or sticking spool causes delayed or incomplete actuator response, often accompanied by erratic flow under load. The original AGCO-manufactured valve uses a matched coil resistance and spool clearance that the system’s controller expects for correct switching timing. On replacement, ensure the O-ring on the mounting face is intact and the electrical connector is fully seated.
