This hydraulic filter element removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic system before the fluid reaches the high-pressure pump and downstream actuators. It is installed in the filter housing located in the return line of the hydraulic loop. A clogged element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered fluid to circulate, which accelerates wear on pump components and control valves. As an original-manufacturer part, it matches the housing’s seal groove geometry and bypass-valve cracking pressure specifications, so no adapter or shimming is required during replacement. On reinstallation, replace the housing seal and tighten the cap to the specified torque.
