This injector seat is the component that seals the fuel injector into the cylinder head, directing high-pressure fuel into the combustion chamber. It sits between the injector body and the cylinder head, forming the final seal in the fuel delivery path. A worn or carbon-fouled seat allows combustion gases to leak past the injector, causing a loss of compression, rough idle, and reduced engine power. As an original AGCO part, the seat is machined to the same sealing-face geometry and crush-height tolerance as the original assembly, ensuring the injector clamps to the correct preload without shimming. On reinstallation, clean the seat bore thoroughly and torque the injector clamp to specification.
