This hydraulic filter assembly, which includes the housing, filter element, and a clogging sensor, is installed at the valve block within the hydraulic system. It captures particulate contamination from the fluid before it circulates to sensitive downstream components. A clogged element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered fluid to circulate and increasing the risk of wear to pumps and valves. As an original AGCO component, the housing is machined to match the seal groove of the valve block, ensuring the bypass valve seats correctly. On reinstallation, replace the housing seal and torque the cap to the specified value.
