This hydraulic oil filter removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic circuit before the fluid reaches the main pump and control valves. It installs in the filter housing on the pressure or return side of the system, depending on the machine layout. A clogged filter element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate and accelerate wear on pumps and actuators. As an original AGCO component, the filter element matches the housing seal geometry and bypass-valve cracking pressure specified for the original assembly. Replace the housing gasket when reinstalling the filter cap.
