This pin connects the top link of the three-point linkage to the tractor chassis or the implement. It transmits the draft force from the implement through the linkage arms to the tractor frame. A worn pin or its bore creates play in the linkage, which causes uneven implement tracking and accelerated wear on the adjacent bushings. This component is machined to the same diameter and hardness as the original assembly, so it fits the linkage clevis without requiring shimming or reaming. On installation, confirm the retaining clip or cotter pin is fully seated to prevent the pin from walking out during operation.
