A worn cushion allows excessive cab movement and increased vibration transfer to the seat and controls, reducing operator comfort over extended shifts. As an original-manufacturer component, its elastomer durometer and bonded-metal interface geometry match the cab-mount bracket pocket, so the cushion sits at the correct preload height without shimming. On replacement, clean the mounting surfaces and tighten the retaining fasteners to the torque value specified for the cab suspension system.
