This suspension cushion mounts between the cab floor and the chassis frame, isolating the operator station from vibration and shock transmitted through the tractor structure during field work. It functions as a passive damping element, compressing and rebounding to absorb vertical and lateral inputs before they reach the cab interior. A worn cushion allows excessive cab movement and increased vibration transfer to the seat and controls, reducing operator comfort over extended shifts. As an original-manufacturer component, its elastomer durometer and bonded-metal interface geometry match the cab-mount bracket pocket, so the cushion sits at the correct preload height without shimming. On replacement, clean the mounting surfaces and tighten the retaining fasteners to the torque value specified for the cab suspension system.
