A clogged filter reduces airflow volume, leading to poor defrosting performance, increased fan noise, and a gradual buildup of fine dust inside the cab. The filter element is constructed to the same pleat density and media depth as the original assembly, which ensures the housing seals correctly and that the airflow resistance remains within the design range for the blower motor.
