It is positioned in the HVAC intake path, trapping dust and pollen before the air reaches the evaporator and heater core. A clogged filter reduces airflow to the cab, leading to poor defogging performance and operator discomfort. The filter is constructed to the original manufacturer's specifications, matching the seal geometry of the housing so that unfiltered air cannot bypass the media. When replacing, ensure the filter is oriented with the airflow arrow pointing into the housing.
