It sends a signal to the control unit, which uses the reading to manage pump output and system response. A failed sensor can cause erratic implement movement or trigger a warning light even when system pressure is within specification. As an original AGCO component, the sensor is machined to match the port depth and thread seating of the factory valve block, ensuring the correct signal range without adapter sleeves. When replacing, clean the port threads and seat the sensor without thread sealant unless the housing specifically requires it.
