It sits between the cab mounting bracket and the frame rail, compressing under load to dampen low-frequency oscillations that would otherwise reach the operator station. A worn bushing allows metal-to-metal contact, producing audible knocking and transferring vibration into the cab floor and controls. The original AGCO part is molded to the same durometer and inner-sleeve bond strength as the production bushing, so it maintains the original damping rate without requiring shimming or bracket modification. On replacement, ensure the bushing is fully seated in its bore and that the mounting bolt is torqued to the frame manufacturer's specification.
