It maintains the lateral position of the frame relative to the axle, preventing side-to-side shift during steering and load changes. A worn or bent link allows frame misalignment, which causes uneven tire wear and impairs steering response. This original AGCO part is machined to the same bushing bore centers as the factory assembly, so no shimming or bracket modification is needed during replacement.
