This rubber bushing isolates vibration and dampens shock loads in the hydraulic pump mounting system of a harvesting machine. It sits between the pump flange and the mounting bracket, absorbing torsional and axial movement that would otherwise transmit directly to the pump housing and its seals. A degraded bushing allows metal-to-metal contact, which accelerates pump bearing wear and can cause fluid leaks at the shaft seal. This component matches the original rubber durometer and inner sleeve geometry, so it maintains the designed damping rate without altering the pump’s alignment relative to the drive input.
