This hydraulic oil filter removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic circuit before the fluid reaches the pump and control valves. It is installed in the return or pressure line of the hydraulic system on the host tractor or agricultural vehicle. A clogged filter element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered fluid to circulate and accelerate wear in pumps and actuators. As an original AGCO component, the filter housing and media are manufactured to the same flow and pressure specifications as the original assembly, ensuring the bypass valve cracks at the correct differential pressure. Replace the housing seal and torque the cap to specification during reinstallation.
