This crankshaft hub is the original AGCO component that mounts to the front of the crankshaft to drive the accessory pulleys and the vibration damper. It sits at the forward end of the crankshaft, transmitting rotational force to the belt-drive system that powers the alternator, water pump, and air-conditioning compressor. A worn or loose hub can cause belt misalignment, leading to accessory-drive noise and reduced charging or cooling output. The hub is machined to the same interference fit and keyway geometry as the original assembly, so no shimming or adapter is required during replacement. On installation, ensure the mating surfaces are clean and torque the retaining bolt to the specified value.
