This feed pump supplies fuel from the tank to the injection system at the required pressure and flow rate for the engine. It is mounted on the engine block and is driven by the engine's timing gear or camshaft, delivering fuel to the high-pressure injection pump. A worn or failing pump causes hard starting, loss of power under load, and erratic engine speed. As an original AGCO component, its mounting flange geometry and drive engagement match the original assembly, eliminating the need for shimming or adapter plates during replacement. On installation, ensure the mating surfaces are clean and replace any gaskets or O-rings.
