This hydraulic oil filter element removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic circuit before the fluid reaches the pump and control valves. It is installed in the filter housing located on the return side of the hydraulic system. A clogged element forces the bypass valve to open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate and accelerate wear on pumps and actuators. As an original AGCO component, the filter media and bypass-valve cracking pressure are matched to the housing design so the valve seats correctly and does not leak during normal flow. Replace the housing seal on reinstall and torque the cap to specification.
