AGCO - VKH4070 - O-Ring Massey Ferguson

This O-ring seals the interface between two mating components in the gearbox or steering system, preventing fluid leakage under pressure. It sits in a machined groove on the housing face; the compressed cross-section blocks oil migration between the internal passages and the external environment. A hardened or nicked O-ring causes seepage that can lead to low system pressure, erratic steering response, or gearbox oil loss. As an original AGCO part, the compound is matched to the fluid type and temperature range the assembly sees in service. On reinstall, clean the groove thoroughly and inspect the sealing surfaces for burrs before fitting the new ring.
