This spring washer sits between the pump mounting flange and the hydraulic pump housing. It applies a preload that maintains the pump's axial position and prevents loosening from vibration during operation. A collapsed or fatigued washer allows the pump to shift, which can cause drive-gear misalignment and oil leakage at the mounting interface. As an original AGCO part, the washer is formed to the same free height and load-deflection curve as the original assembly, so the pump retains its correct endplay without shimming. On reinstallation, confirm the washer is seated squarely in the recess before torquing the mounting bolts.
