This drive O-ring seals the connection between the brake and hydraulic system components in the host tractor. It sits in a machined groove on the drive unit, preventing fluid leakage between the two systems. A degraded or flattened O-ring allows fluid to bypass the seal, which can cause a loss of brake pressure or erratic hydraulic response.
