This oil tank O-ring seals the connection between the hydraulic tank and its filler neck or return-line port. It sits in the groove at the tank opening, preventing oil leakage and maintaining system pressure. A degraded O-ring allows air ingress or fluid seepage, which can cause cavitation in the pump or a visible drip under the machine. This original part is molded to the same cross-section and durometer as the factory seal, so it seats fully in the groove without requiring additional sealant. On installation, ensure the sealing surface is clean and dry; do not reuse the old ring.
