This toothed variator belt drives the engine-mounted auxiliary systems at a controlled speed ratio. It sits between the crankshaft pulley and the driven pulley on the front of the engine, transmitting torque without slip. A worn belt causes speed fluctuation in the driven accessories, leading to inconsistent hydraulic or charging output. As an original AGCO component, the belt matches the tooth profile and pitch of the original pulley set, so no adjustment of the tensioner travel range is needed. On replacement, inspect the pulley grooves for wear and set the tensioner to the specified deflection.
