The new solo® by AL-KO Robolinho® 1121 VISION mowing robot is an innovative solution for lawn care without the need to install a boundary wire or reference station. Installation is extremely fast and simple – just place the robot on the lawn and start it. The boundaries of the mowing area are automatically detected by the built-in camera. This is an ideal solution for simple, clearly defined gardens. The advanced vision system with a 2 MP wide-angle camera analyzes the surroundings in real time. The robot automatically recognizes lawn boundaries and detects both fixed and moving obstacles, effectively avoiding them. Robolinho® 1121 VISION can mow in aesthetic, parallel strips, ensuring a perfect lawn appearance. Strip mode is recommended for sections up to 20 m and flatter surfaces. In other conditions, random mode is also available. Thanks to a mowing width of 21 cm and an efficient charging station (charging current up to 3 A), ensuring short charging cycles, the robot effectively maintains lawns of up to 1100 m². It easily handles terrain slopes of up to 35%. The actual mowing performance depends on the garden layout and the number and size of obstacles. Using the AL-KO inTOUCH® app (Google Play / Apple App Store), the robot connects to the home Wi-Fi network and can be conveniently controlled from a smartphone. It supports integration with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT systems, and thanks to an open API it enables connection to your own smart home systems, including open-source platforms such as Home Assistant. The app offers an intelligent mowing schedule – Robolinho® automatically adapts its work to weather conditions and the grass growth rate. The user only specifies the time intervals in which the robot should not work. Quiet and emission-free operation (only 64 dB(A)) is possible thanks to efficient electric motors and a lithium-ion 18 V / 36 V battery with a capacity of 5.0 Ah / 2.5 Ah. The battery can be easily removed and also used in compatible AL-KO hand tools from the 1 Battery – 2 Voltages series. The mowing height can be adjusted in the range of 30–60 mm, allowing the lawn appearance to be perfectly matched to individual preferences. The proven AL-KO dual-blade system guarantees even and precise mowing. Shredded grass remains on the lawn as natural fertilizer (mulching), eliminating the need to collect it. In low visibility conditions, e.g. early morning or evening, the LED lights turn on automatically. The robot easily handles passages from 100 cm wide and has an IPX4 sealing class, ensuring resistance to splashing water. Using the included zone markers, it is possible to mow two separate areas connected by a simple passage, e.g. on both sides of a garage driveway.
